Pig-in-a-Blanket Day Pig in a Blanket Day is a day to eat a sausage wrapped in a pancake. Why? Because that's what "Pig in a Blanket" is. Somebody, somewhere decided that this was a very special treat to them. So, they created a special day to celebrate this culinary delight. Aren't you glad that they did? How does one go about celebrating Pig in a Blanket Day? Cook up some sausage. Make some pancakes. Wrap the sausage inside of the pancake. Add maple syrup. Then, chow down.

Easy Pigs In A Blanket

If you don't want to try the original Pig in a Blanket, then try the easier more well known version - hot dogs wrapped in a roll.
 
What You'll Need:
 
  • Hot Dogs
  • Crescent Rolls
  • Cheese Slices

   
How To Make:
 

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Open can of crescent rolls, and roll out each triangle.

3. Place hot dog inside of the triangle. If you want cheese, add half slice of cheese and roll dough around the hot dog.

4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until rolls are golden brown.
